Welcome to our new Sits & Wiggles community members! We're honored that you've chosen us to provide care to your family. I'd like to offer some details about Keith & I as you get to know us, and we get to know you.
Keith has extensive experience working with dogs. He's assisted a veterinarian, while concurrently managing a grooming salon & grooming felines & canines. He's worked at our local Humane Society, as well as with Central Oregon dog trainers Woof To Wow Dog Training and Friends For life Dog Training . Keith owned and operated a dog training and pet sitting business in Southern California. During that time, he voluntarily worked with (and built relationships with) a baboon and a wolf. The wolf was featured in the White Fang 2 movie. His love for animals is deep and quite obvious. He's cared for sugar gliders, ferrets, horses, goats, bulls, sheep, reptiles, fish, birds, rabbits and more. Prior to opening Sits & Wiggles, Keith was the general manager for our local College Hunks franchise.
I have volunteered at our local Humane Society, Caring for Troops, Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army, March of Dimes, The American Cancer Society, Neighbor Impact Head Start, and the Bend LaPine School District. Keith & I created and led a multi level Girl Scout troop. Our 14 members ranged from kindergarten level to junior high. We met weekly for 2 years. My professional background is in accounting, bank management and customer service. I proudly served as a medic in the US Army for 6 years, and competed to earn the title Soldier of the Year, battalion level. Although my background wasn't focused on animals, my love for them has always run deep.
We've lived in Bend for 18 years and have three incredible children. We also have three sweet and silly pups. We're very grateful to reside in such a welcoming community and to have such spectacular clients!
