Rover DOES NOT PROVIDE INSURANCE FOR SITTERS

Since my post on the importance of pet sitting insurance, several sitters and clients have messaged me inquiring about Rover's insurance policy. I want to clear up a common misunderstanding, in order to protect the sitter and the client. Rover sitters often say that they are "insured through Rover". Please know that this is inaccurate, as seen below (from Rover's site). Sitters are responsible for purchasing their own business insurance. Clients should always request proof.
