Did you know that many "pet sitters" are also dog trainers or vet techs? Others have extensive experience working at dog kennels, shelters, and the like. In contrast, some pet sitters have minimal experience as they're just starting out. Just like most anything else, the experience and qualifications range on a spectrum. Most importantly, we're all connected (or at least we should be) by a deep love of animals and an inherent need to protect them.
