Public Service Announcement Regarding Safety:

Please, please be mindful and diligent about the information you share on public forums. Don't announce the dates that you'll be away from your home when seeking pet sitters. Don't share your street name. Your name is already out there. We see this all too often.

We've seen local pet providers highlight the upcoming pets they'll be with and the dates. Pets were named and pictured. Local sitters also ask the potential clients to state their travel dates on these public communication threads. Please, please consider the safety of your clients, their pets, and yourself. Do not request or share this info. I'm certain that nobody had ill intentions, but perhaps didn't think of it.

Sits & Wiggles only posts photographs after our clients have safely returned home, and only with express written permission. We never state dates. We never announce who is scheduled or upcoming. Whether you choose to utilize our services or not, we urge you to be cautious.

These details can be discussed during phone calls or in face to face interviews. We need to be discriminatory regarding how we share personal information and with who. Don't provide details that ill minded individuals can utilize to harm you.
