July 3, 2023: Episode 97

There were fires in Redmond & Bend yesterday. We know that community members will set off fireworks, regardless of legality. Some of whom will be intoxicated, etc. Please be mindful of our dry environment & propensity to catch on fire. Please be aware of where children, pets and other vulnerable people are at all times. We always water our roof when fireworks are anticipated.

Other safety topics:

Please designate a sober driver or plan to stay the night where you're celebrating. Never leave people or animals in vehicles in these elevated temperatures. Be aware of the signs & symptoms of heat injury / illness. Stay hydrated. (Yes, I sound like your mom!)
